Amerline Enterprises Company, an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of electrical power connectors and wire harnesses, is seeking a Manufacturing / Costing Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including hands-on costing of wire harnesses and cable assemblies.

This role supports the Engineering Manager in preparing quotations, creating CAD drawings, and maintaining engineering documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively across departments. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate Sales and Purchasing to develop price quotations for customer Request for Quotations (RFQs) for wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Evaluate production processes with the Engineering Manager to improve efficiency and update manufacturing documentation
• Create and maintain BOMs and operation methods in the ERP software (Epicor 10)
• Perform document control functions, including creating and releasing drawings, updating logs, and generating production document packages
• Review and respond to customer revision changes, updating cost estimates and quotations to reflect revised requirements
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Ability to read schematics and interpret customer drawings and specifications
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems, and AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Pay:

• $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job description

We are seeking an Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Assurance Team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing parts using a variety of measuring instruments. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections
• Identify product and/or process defects
• Use measuring instruments and operate test equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred but not required
• Wire harness or QA experience preferred but not required
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, unit conversion)
• Must be able to read part drawings and written work orders
• Must be able to use measuring instruments including: rulers, calipers, eye loupes

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Be able to handle delicate parts

Job Type: 

• Full-time

Pay: 

• $18 to $22 per hour

• 8-hour shift (6:30 am to 3:00 pm)
