The AEC 3116 is a commercial version of the MS3116 connector. The straight plug is compatible with all 26482 Series I receptacles. The coupling ring is essential to facilitate positive mating onto the receptacle. This is the most common plug for cables and is available with an environmental backshell. We also have the ability to overmold our straight plugs for strain relief and even more environmentally protected cables. Use a protective cover when the plug is disconnected to protect the gold-plated contacts.
